Butterfly Cannon is expanding its team in Central London and stepping into an ambitious new chapter. As we evolve our studio and the work we put into the world, we’re looking for a strategically sharp Senior Strategist to help shape what comes next.

This is a key role within our Strategy team – ideal for someone who loves turning insight into action and shaping the thinking behind distinctive, effective creative work.

You’ll be culturally curious, confident in your point of view and skilled at uncovering the human motivations, cultural currents and brand truths that unlock great ideas. From first brief to creative development, you bring clarity to complexity and direction to teams and clients alike.

What we’re looking for:
– 5+ years’ experience in brand, advertising or communications strategy
– A track record of building robust brand and comms strategies grounded in insight
– Experience in advertising or integrated communications (essential)
– Exposure to North American brands or markets (a bonus)

You’re comfortable guiding clients, inspiring creatives and collaborating closely across Client Services, Creative and Strategy to deliver work that resonates and delivers real impact.

You’re a strong writer and storyteller, able to craft inspiring briefs, strategic frameworks and persuasive presentations. You confidently present and defend your thinking, contribute to pitches and new business, and evaluate effectiveness post-launch to inform what comes next.

Internally, you champion strategic excellence and cross-disciplinary collaboration. You bring enthusiasm, empathy and high standards – raising the bar for clarity, craft and curiosity across the studio.
